Rep Power: 0 Parasitic drain through Fuse 9 "backup" 2001 Civic EX
I have continuous 185 mA drain in the "backup" circuit. The drain starts at about 225 mA then after about 20 seconds it drops to steady 184-185 mA. When I pull the under-dash radio fuse the current drops to about 181 mA. when I pull the 10A fuse from circuit 9 in the under hood fuse box the drain drops to less than 1 mA. There are a lot of things on this circuit. How can I figure out which is causing the battery killing drain?

Any aftermarket stuff on the car, like a remote start or headunit?
Any work previously done?
I would start unhooking things from that circuit untill the draw went away.

How, where does one go about unhooking the following items which are on the circuit?
- Audio Unit.
- Data Link Connector.
- Gauge Assembly.
- Immobilizer Control Unit/Receiver.
- Immobilizer Indicator Light.
- Keyless Receiver Unit.
- Multiplex Control Unit.
- Security Control Unit.
- Audio Unit

Never said it would be easy.
I would start with the Audio and then go, keyless receiver, multiplex and gauge assembly.
I would also buy one of these:

that circuit is often tapped for an aftermarket backup camera. if one was ever installed by you(or installed and possibly removed by a previous owner), i'd start there.
i'm assuming backup as in reverse lights
