Rep Power: 0 Which brake grease do I use? Also shims?
I'm going to replace my brakes for the first time and so I believe I got everything I needed. But the Hawk HPS pads I got come with their own grease which I didn't know at the time so I got the Molykote M77 also, which should I use? Also, I read that the Hawks have their own integrated shims, should I still use the OEM shim if it's there (Not sure since I got this car used.) or take out the OEM shim and just put in the Hawks?
Thanks for any input.

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

I'd use the grease that comes with the new pads.
If the new pads already have integrated shims, you should not use even more shims.
I'd hang on to the original shims though, sometimes they come in handy LOL (I'm a horrible pack rat)
