Cool Suspension or No Suspension

All right guys, i'm upgrading my suspension. I got an upper strut bar the other day. Now i got some questions:

1.Coilovers or Lowering Springs?????
2.What Brand?????

I saw some Skunk2 Lowering Springs that i'm interested in.

Suggestions are appreciated

Re: Suspension or No Suspension

Depends on what you want? Do you just want a lower ride? Or do you prefer ride quality? Usually you don't get both unless you get really expensive coilovers. At some point when I have some extra money here. I'm going to get the Koni/GC Spring combo that I've heard great things about.

Re: Suspension or No Suspension

Honestly if I could go back Id leave it stock and just ungrade to the 16" ep-r5 hfp rims.I saw an 04 ex coupe just like mine with these wheels and no drop and looked dope not to mention the smooth ride compared to the bullshit ride of any lowered car and any suspension. I have tein ss for a lil over a year front shock now blown have to remove whole suspension to send in for testing/ revalving. Now I need 2 new tie rod ends and alignment on top of removal of the suspension just to return to stock. And I still have to do this all over again when I get the suspension back minus the tie rods. Although for some reason seems worth it when I role to the beach in the summer slammed on chrome. I guess the point I'm gettin at is sure lowering your car makes it look good but thats about it.

Sorry, but would you rather create a for sale thread in the for sale forums instead of reviving a thread that is closing in to a decade old?

Don't forget to follow the rules for the for sale section, including not posting phone numbers or email addresses. Who does it always come back to ask them to be deleted from here...

The only rule that does not need to be followed are the minimum 50 posts. Too many posted whatever posts and revived decades old threads to simply get to the for sale forums, so it was a pointless rule in the end, anyway...
