Re: Boot under panel has water in it
So, I do not own a 8th gen, I own a 7th gen but I’m genrally pretty good with working and dealing with Honda’s of any model. It all sounds like a seal to me. Mine has bad door seals so sometimes I end up with water coming inside the car right under the door speaker. As far as the boot is concerned that could be many things, either needs to be replaced or the Rubber could have gotten a slight hole or crack in it allowing water in but no way out. Hope that helps.

Dry everything, and then spray the entire area with a hose, along the edges of the trunk, back window, and the doors. Should show where the leak is. If you can have a light and a camera recording in there. I thinks there's also a vent in behind the bumper, that may be letting water in.
