Anyone get or hear anything about the new AEM EMS yet?
I see some sites selling it - for about $1300-1500 dollars. Is it a complete ECU replacement? If so, even though the price is high, it would be a better solution than Hondata and others since its an all-inclusive package (ie you just hook your laptop up and go!). Don't have to take it to the dealer to get programmed.....
Looks like an awesome setup, but not sure if anyone has it or has any more info on it??

It is a complete package. It replaces your ecu and uses the stock connectors. It can be easily programmed by a number of ways. You can load the stock program, load a pre-set modification, or the best way possible.
First you load a preset program with an altered ignition timing based on your engine build. Then by installing a wide band laamda sensor (a sensor that measures air-fuel ratio), the ecu will alter and adjust the air fuel settings according to your actual car. That is right, real time fuel adjustments.
Additionally, it can handle boost outputs, nitrous activation via rpm, and a number of other items. Most important, you can change the stock injectors and have the ecu recalibrate to be able to add more fuel (you will still have to beef up fuel delivery).
Basically for the money, you buy only one unit to control everything. No add ons or other items. So if you realize that, it is the final solution to a tricked out turbo or supercharger setup. Plus when you add items to make your car faster, it will change with you.
My opinion is that if you are serious about adding power to your car, this is the only real way to go. Other add ons will be cheaper, but will always be limited. This unit really has no limitations.

Well - it might take some time to setup if they don't include timing info? I'm not too sure since I've never seen it.
That "wideband sensor" which you are referring to - is that the device which is also listed on their website, next to the EMS?
