gas milage and muffler....
the gas mileage in my 2001 civic has been really low lately, or at least comparatively so. i recently put a tsuedo double tip muffler on it and im wondering if that could have done it. i only had the car for like a week or two before i put on the muffler so im not really sure if that is the problem or if it is something else, because the tank before i put on the muffler was pretty low too. when i put on the tsuedo we cut off the very last muffler and ran straight pipe from the first (maybe second) muffler all the way back to the new tsuedo. could this be why my mileage has been bad?

one of the tanks that i drove on before i got around 420 miles on it so it would be around 32 mpg then the next tank before the muffler was around like 24/25 and its stayed around that since then.

i would reset your ecu and see if that helps any. it sounds like you are just running it hard and might not have reset everything. but your car should reset itselfs in an undetermined amount of time that i am not sure of.
