Well first i wanna say thnks for all for the responses i got form my last post, now i have a new idea and need some of yah guys and gals input , im driving a 01civic ex auto coupe and i wanna convert it to a stick so i can put a turbo in it, im from San Diego i need somewhere local to bring my car cuz i wanna do this before i get deployed, thanks
Well first you'll have to find all the parts to do it, or go to a dealer and do it all new. But I don't know if a dealer will swap the tranny liek that if its under warranty. When I was in high school a kid I knew had an E36 BMW with an auto and he absolutely toasted the tranny so he could convert to manual. Good plan, till he saw how much that kind of swap is. So figure you'll need the tranny (duh), clutch assembly, all the wiring, different transaxles (im not sure??) different guage cluster unless you dont care about having the automatic diagram still on there, and I'm assuming you'd need a different ECU from a manual car, but im not sure. So...why not just trade it in, or just turbo and automatic.
