street glow UB kit, how do you install the sides?
i got my street glow GS UB kit today and am going to install it sunday. i know where and how to put up the front and back tubes but i was looking under the car to check out the sides and its all flat. i was wondering how did the people here who have them installed mount them? did you just drill into the bottom of the car? i could use any info you guys may have.

drilling holes is really your only option if you dont have a sideskirt. you gotta be careful because you don't know where the vital wires run. below is a pic of how i mounted mine. sort of tucked inside the sideskirt.

has anyone here mounted them that doesnt have a sideskirt? or know whats on the other side of where i would be drilling? this is the only problem keeping me from hooking this all up. like mex said i dont want to drill straight up into a wire harness or something.

no i meant cut out holes in the bumper bottom, so you can mount the tube inside the bumper shining down. so exhaust isnt in the way

EnProceso,
From pictures of people DIY sound deadening their cars, I dont think there are any wires running down the length of our cars on the floor where you would mount the underglow, but I could be wrong.
Nevertheless, I drilled right up into the bottom of the car to mount my g5 sideskirts so I think you will be alright.
If you are afraid like I was when I mounted my neon kit, go get some tightening pipe clamps from home depot (much like the ones used to tighten the bends of intercooler piping together), and the pointy end under that 2x4 looking thing on the bottoms of our cars. It is possible since the 2x4 metal beam isn't flush with the bottom of the car. Make the other end come out of that hole in the bottom/middle of the 2x4 then bring the end around and close the loop with the neon snug against the side of the 2x4. Is this clear enough? Let me know if you need more help. I didn't use any of the mounting stuff provided in the kit.
