To the people who have installed Revo, OBX.....HELP!

ok, I popped out the clip on the primary shift linkage and got that out fine. But, on the SECONDARY one there is that plastic peice. Now, I dont know if there is some sort of clip or something?, if I just have to use force and pull out to the side?, or if you turn it somehow?? I ask cuz I dont want to break it. I am in the process right now, so a quick response would be very helpful..thank you.

ps. yes I did search every diy on the site.....its kinda vague about it. It just says pop out the clip and take the linkages out.

Edit: oh yea I have an 02 coupe if there is a difference in them

there should be a little tab that u use to rotate that section out of the shifter base. carefull because the base is made of nylon and will deform if you try prying to hard... hit this back if you need more nfo

use a C-clamp to push the bushings into place. you could try to lube it up as well. that might help.

Did you try to put some grease on there? It should go in fine if you force it a little. Let us know if you still having problem.
