12 psi of boost and it only makes 200hp. That sucks. I give GM credit for trying to keep up with the imports, but come on. Its still a saturn. Just like SRT-4 It won't last. And its over rated.

Actually the SRT4 is looking to dominate the entire sport compact FWD segment, import or not.
Dont let your bias cloud the over-whelming truth... 99% Of young sport compact car buyers get their car to modify and or drag race, and in a straight line as well as modability, that thing is king of them ALL.

I think it looks better than the current models. What's up with the airplane wing....I mean exactly who is the target market for cars with big **** wings...16 yr old kids can't afford these cars...I don't get it..
No, I will most likely never be a Saturnized consumer either...

what the. only 200 hp with 12 psi?
hmm. if its the same one they have in their other Ions.. its the 2.0L 140 (or was it 145) hp...
neat. but yeah, I wouldn't buy one.
its good for the market though... more competition is always good for us, the consumers.

Did anyone actually read the article? Best quote ever: "ION Red Line comes standard with a rear spoiler, but a family of large, stylish rear wings is available."
I guess it's obvious what the target market is...
