the TORNADO ???

I keep seeing commercials for the Tornado, and there's one for a 2002 civic and claims it increases gas mileage by 21.5%. Has anyone got it? what do you think?

I doubt it does anything good. Seems like its a setup for a metal piece to break off and get sucked into the throttle body. It's just another "As-Seen-On-TV" commercial gimmick.

Any gains felt are all psychological. It's all in your head. For example, have you ever noticed how for some reason your car drives like a million bucks after you've washed it or filled it up with gas?

Yep, this item has come up quite regularly. I tried one just for the hell of it, and it doesn't do anything good or bad. If someone wants it, I'll sell it for $20.
