Question about rims i just bought

Ok, so i just bought some rims and tires online, got them yesterday, and on the inside of the rims there are little 7oz weights. My guess is they're there for balncing, question is i dont like the way they look could i take them off, and if i do how would it affect the ride/rim?

DON'T TAKE IT OFF!

Or else..... your car will shake like a **** at freeway speeds.

It's there for a reason.

If they're on the inside of the rim, you can't see them anyway, so who cares? And I wouldn't take them off since they're balancing out the rim. You'll be shaking all over the place if you take them off.

If you don't like where they are place, you can just get your rim re-balanced, and tell the guy where you want the weight stuck on, this way it won't show....

Just a suggestion

You need them. Don't take them off. Could give you uneven treadwear too.
