creaky sunroof
Does anyone have an annoying creaking (sp?) sound that the sroof makes when the door is slid shut? I asked the dealer and they claim it needs to be lubricated- b s*#%....
you can lubricate it yourself. try getting some silicone based lubricant on the rubber beneath the sunroof glass. or any grease should do just apply a light film to it and the mechanism at the rear if you can reach it.

If it is only heard when you are moving the shutter back and forth, it would make sense that the track needs to be lubed. Also, if that is the only noise you are getting from the sunroof and general area, count your blessings.

Mine started sqeaking once when I hadn't lubricated the seal for awhile. To test if it's the seal, push up on the glass while you're sitting in the car a couple of times, and it should make the noise. Just slap some sort of rubber conditioner (Meguiar's vinyl/rubber dressing seems to work well) on the seal, and you'll be good to go.
Now, my headliner also rattles like a bitch around the roof opening, but the dealer seems to be deaf.
