I just used a regular can of gunmetal paint. You dont have to get the high heat paint or anyother special kinds. Check out mt members rides page and I believe you can see them there. They came out great.

I think any brand will do...it depends if you want it to be glossy, semi, or solid. Also make sure you use high temp paint (I used 500 degrees) Don't forget to buy clear coat too.

Depends on how good of quality you want and whether or not you want to ever have to do it again. If you don't care, use a spray can. If you don't want to have to worry about it again, get some actual exterior paint and have them sprayed. Napa sells paints too, that's where I buy mine.

Just to play it safe you might want to use 500 degree engine paint.

It looks tight with just semi gloss black, heres a pic without the cover and back on.
If your wondering what to use to cover up what you dont want to paint, use the vanilla colored masking tape....it doesn't stick to much
Also if you really want it very glossy like the car paint, this is going to take several coats of black and A lot of clear coat, IMO it looks fine with just 3 coats black 3 coats clear... One thing i did mess up is i let them dry in the garage where its dusty and if you look close you can see the dust in the paint... remember this
