Does anyone know how 2 do this or is it impossible. I want 2 change the emblem but it looks like it i on there pretty tight. Or should i just put an emblem over that one but i dont think it would hold. So any info on this would really help, and oh ya getting my Octane kit put on in a couple of weeks. You can't do it from the front without breaking the emblem's little attachment pegs off. You have to take off the front bumper, or at least lower it to get to the back of the grill. Then you'll have to take a look at how it's attached. There's these little metal clips that hold plastic pegs down. It's kinda impossible to get the emblem off without breaking the pegs, but try it. With some luck you might get it free wthout damaging it.

if u get octane then ur oem front will be taken out automatically, then the rear ones u can follow the DIY from the diy page

Unfortunately removing any H emblems will leave holes in the body of your civic.
But you can shave off the Civic or the EX,LX,DX emblems without any side effects.

Only the rear 'h' emblem on the trunk will leave two holes in the body, the front 'h' will leave two holes on the upper grill, which you could change. Maybe he wants to put one of those colored emblems or an indiglo one.

ah well about the emblem, I was bored one day so I took my front emblem off. Haven't gotten around to putting it back on. If you are replacing it with another emblem, pull away, it will pop off. mine did. Then clean the area and atach your new emblem. Mines just still black without the chrome. I don't mind the holes and you can't see them from a distance, you have to be right up on the car to notice them so it just appears that i have a black emblem. Thinking about removing the rear emblem, sanding the chrome off and painting it black.
