Any way to recalibrate Gauges?
--Please dont flame already searched------
I installed indilglo gauges without reming the needles, but my speedometer gauge is screwed. It shhots up to 60mph when i turn the car off and when I drive it goes back down to 0 very slowly. Is there anyway to recalibrate the gauges? Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks

Hmmm.....sorry I dont' know have a answer for your problem. But makes me think twice about putting the indiglo gauges in my car. The only reason I haven't done it is because I can't get the dash trim out.

The real problems with installing the indiglo's is only when you take the needles off. The needles will onlt need to be recalibrated if you take the needles off when installing the indiglo gauges.

There is no way to fix this yourself. I had this problem a long time ago. Take your indiglow guage overlay off (if you have it on), put everything back to normal and take it to the dealer. You are going to have to get a new guage cluster, so tell them all of a sudden the guages started acting screwy. You should be able to get it covered under warrenty, as long as you don't give them a reason to belive you messed it up.
The needle must have come undown a little bit...if any of the needles come up even a bit thier calibration is off.

i fixed mine. what i did was installed the indiglo and the needle. move the needle in that circular motion untill it comes to a stop. if the stop is before 112 i think, i forgot what our govener was, just move it to 112 and your fix. if it is after 112, remove the needle put it back in, not int he same place, and try again to get it to stop before 112. same thing goes for the rpm. make sure the stop, stop on redline. hope it is not confusing.
