i'm looking to retrofit a pair of Hella xenon projectors into my TYC projectors and was wondering if they open like the stock headlights. pdxbiker put some audi A6 projectors in his TYC but he made a hole in the back of the projector unit. i think taking apart the headlights like the DIY clearing seems cleaner and allows you to adjust the projectors. anyone? thanks ahead.

do only the lens come apart or does everything can be taken apart so that you can access the projectors? i'm talking about the painted inside part, in your case it's black i think. thanks.

I need to watch this thread.. I am planning on doing the same thing to my FUTURE set of TYCs.. I want to access the front painted part to REPAINT the silver.. I don't know how close the silver finish is to the Satin Silver Honda paint, and I want it to look perfect!! [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]

I am not planning to go HID right now, but I DO want to put a quality halogen projector unit in there. Keep me posted on any future updates...
