carpeting my car

so what would be the acoustical value of carpeting my whole interior.... rear deck, pillars, sills... i think i found a match for the stock tan color... it would also be pretty good for rattling, no?

greatly decreased midrange and high range reflection...much less "peaky" frequency response...possible adde valleys in some midrange and midbass frequencies..
