is 2.25" drop too low

i was wondering if any one knows if 2.25" drop has a better ride than 2.00" drop, and if 2.5 is too low for a fiberglass front bumper which do you suggest cause on www.suspensionmax.comwww.suspensionmax.com they offer the sprint 2.25" drop for 01-02 civic and the 2.00" drop for the rsx, rsx springs are applicable with the 7th gens, right? im going for the rsx 2.00 drop but please help with any suggestions, thanks.

2.25-2.5 drop with a fiberglass bumper = major scraping and cracking problems. what size are your tires? if i had a front bumper i'd lowe 1.75 to be safe, especially with fiberglass.

Thats slammed. If you have an aftermarket bumper i'd say your bumper would just about be touching the ground. If you want something super low, i'd say get coilovers that way you can get it as low as you want, but also adjust it out for clearance. I wouldn't go any lower than 1.75.

i have about a 2.75 w/ 17", well it all depends on your skills on driving a lower car, if you know how to drive a lower car then drop it 2.25

for some even 1.3" is too low. n for others even a 2.5" drop isnt low enough. it all depends on preference and how much your willing to sacrifice for a slammed look. to me 2.25" is perfect... but then again this also varies with a kit and tire size.

the rsx springs will fit our cars but keep in mind the weight differences... so just cause its a 2" drop on an rsx doesnt mean its a 2" drop on our cars. also its not always 2", some companies are off.

usually lower the drop, the worse the ride is. but then it also depends on the company and what not...

you might also want to look into a set of true coilovers or the h&r cup kit. with a 2" drop, the rides going to be badd and your shocks will blow after awhile. true coilovers and the cup kit comes with shocks that are designed to handle the extra stress
