2 1/4" resonator

2 1/4' resonator
So i went down to meinikie<sp> today to get a 2 1/4 inch resonator installed today but the guy at there told me he can't do it casue it would be too low so uh how did the ppl who have a 2 1/4 inch resonator get ures installed and the guy also told me i would have to use a stock resonator caues its flat not round so uh any suggestions would be appreciated[IMG]i/expressions/beer_yum.gif[/IMG]

well tell the meinikie guy he's full of it cause if you look at all the aftermarket catback systems, they all have their own "shape/version" of the exhaust resonator. unless they are like as big as my d**k, then it should fit

do you have 2.25 custom piping?
if so, they shoudn't have a problem installing the 2.25" resonator where the stock one was.
i used to have it like that and it never banged or anything... the guy is full of ****. you cannot use a 1.75 stock resonator with 2.25 piping... airflow is TOO disrupted.
pics of my old 2.25 resonator which cost 35 installed.




i dont have pics of the exhaust from the bottom of the car...but they just need to cut out a section of the piping and weld the resonator.
