weird noise during cold start
Hey,
I have a 2k2 Civic SI (US EX), and when I try to start my car after it's been sitting out for a few hours (more than about 5) in -20C or colder weather, I hear a 'whining' sound, which sounds almost identical to the sound civics make when you are going fast in reverse.. It does it for no more than a second, then everything is perfectly fine..
Any ideas as to what it could be? Maybe just the belts and what not getting up to speed?
The car only as 1870 km on it..
thanks for any help
