Besides HID...
What are the best HIGH WATTAGE H4 bulbs we can use in our cars? Any experiences? I will be using an upgraded H4 harness w/ relays. so wire melting isnt an issue. I have silverstars but theyre only stock wattage.

Well what you are talking about isn't HID..you are just looking for HID replica bulbs...
well the best HID out there I would say is Phillips..they are the most reliable and make a dual beam HID H4 kit for our cars....and well you get HID low/high beam..haha...major brightness....but...the thing is....I hope you got around 600 US.....
but
If you are looking for the best type of bulbs..that last..hella long..well go with Eurolite..they don't put out that much wattage..but they last long...right now I have PIAA Xtreme Whites..and well they are going hard....untill they burnt out after 6 months..ugh.....I know its gonna happen agian....well there goes 120$...CDN...well..it's up to you....personaly I want HID soo bad..but what can you do...hahahaha

Eurolites actually don't last long either. I had to replace mine every so often. I went back to my stocks for a while until my boy hooked me up with some new lights at his shop. The new bulbs that I have now are Cuzo. I wouldn't get anything else other than HID. These things are incredible! They are just like the HID kit found in the BMW 3 series. Almost the exact color and brightness. Pretty much the whole crew that I role with use them, even the kid that runs the shop. I only paid $20 for them and he said retail was like $40. Very good investment IMO.

Nice.. what are those? Oh and I meant Im not putting down 389 for H4 HID.. not just yet. Until then, I need to find a way to get extreme brightness =) I have silverstar bulbs... and i have OEM honda fogs and an H4 wiring harness coming in the mail =0p that should improve brightness a lot right there.

1. The bulb used is a 7443. This is a dual filament bulb. You can replace it with a 7440 bulb which is a single filament. So it will only come on when you use your turn signal.
2. There are 3 wires that plug into the back of the light. One of those keeps the light on all the time. Just figure out which one has the constant power using a tester and cut it.

Im quite satisfied with my Silverstars. They ROCK!! I know up close to the car when you look at the lights.. they look stock, but back up a good ten feet and they lookin like some bright *** HIDs. The best part about them is that the bulb isnt painted/tinted blue like its competitors. So, when you look at your headlights during the day/night with the lights off, they wont reflect the "ricey" blue around in the housing.
In conlusion...

to Sylvania for their Silverstars.
(plus saying the word "silverstars" sounds pretty cool to me!)

- I just put in Liteglow Xenon's the other day, so far so good. Decent light output, looks very white, and has that nice ricey blue look in the headlights I was lookin for. Mine were $12.99 for a pair at target
