possible belt problem

i think maybe my belt is making a squeling noise every now and then. i was wondering if i need to change it. i have about 60000 miles on my car so I'm thinking it can"t hurt. anyone one else have an opinion about it? also does anyone know if there is a Hanes or Chilton manual out for the 2001 yet?

Also, if I did need to replace the belt, does anyone know where I could get one? None of the local parts stores have them , if I have to go to the dealer, do you think itll be expensive?

Yeah... Which belt? I know the timing belt is good for 90000 miles, but I don't know about the others.

well there is only two belts if im not mistaken, but I figure it can't hurt to go ahead and change them both. So, if anyone knows how to change either of them it would be helpful. I'm assuming the accesory belt has a tensoiner on the other side of the tire, but I haven't looked yet, so I don't know. I guess the other smaller belt would be the timing belt? any knowledge about my car would be helpful. I know a good bit about cars but there is a little bit of stuff that is a little different than most cars. ok then thanks.

coolness is right, there are two belt, if there just squeling and are in good shape just tighten the belts, the bolt for tightening the a/c is right next to the power steering resevoir and the other is kind of hard to get to but is derectly below that and thats the altanator one. i used a socket wrench with a 1 1/8 socket on it and a long wrench, it's really geto but it worked great. If you need to replace the belt your dealer with have them but i have found them at car quest and napa of $26 for the both of them. but those were the belts for aftermarket pullies, but still, they're cheap
