help with reverse indiglo gauges

I just installed my indiglo gauges yesterday using the diy on this site instead of the ones that came with the gauges because they seemes like they were too complicated. Anyway, I'm having 2 probs:

1. needles won't light up

2. gauges flash at like 100 mph. And its not just my gauges flashing, its all the lights in my instrument panel (a/c controls, everything). Whats confusing me is that when I use my keyless entry instead of the two steady beeps ot normally makes, it's making two seperate sets of beeps that beep exactly as fast as all the lights are flashing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

UPDATE: I just drove up to my office and was curious about my stock dimmer. When I turned my stock dimmer all the way down everything stopped flashing. They seem to be working fine for now. Still trying to figure out why me needles aren't lit up.

Any guesses there?

You definitly wired something wrong. I followed the DIY in this sight to the tee and my reverse indiglows are fine. if you wired it right, maybe you have a problem with the gauges

Yeah, the only wiring required for these things is just to tap the power from your headlights, so its strange that all that stuff could be happening. I just put mine in yesterday and the only problem was that I didnt put enough tape down near the inside and the needles would get stuck. It was working fine all day because I wasn't going past 50 in the city but when I went out on the highway and hit 80, the thing just got stuck and I didnt notice until I came to a stop and realized the needle hadn't moved. Good thing I had read about that problem in the forum or I would've probably freaked out. Anyways, hope things work out...
