How low can I go????? plz help!
Hey guys its been awhile since I've posted any messages. But anyway, I am getting ready to lower my car. I want to know the lowest I can go without having to buy a camber kit??? I don't want to drop and scrap my ride but just lower a little. I think the H&R springs have a 1.3" drop fron t and rear. SO if you guys woudl please help me out. I spent last night searching for some guidance, but it was a lost cause. I really appreciate it. Later...

with any drop a camber kit is recommended. as for if its worth it or not, this is a question that is debatable. your never going to get a real true answer to this. i would say getting a camber kit with h&r or prokit is a waste of money. neuspeed sport, sportlines, goldlines to me is debatable. i have neuspeed sports and havnt gotten a camber kit since.. its been what 3 months now. i personally think its a waste of money to drop your car on the H&Rs tho. you could hardly tell the car is even dropped. to a regular person its going to look stock and to me thats a waste of money even if you dont have to buy the camber kit. i guess its cause i like the slammed look. even my neuspeed sports isnt low enough
join the club ohmysac, i installed mine on sunday too, much more than 1.3 i can tell ya that, does your spring "pop" in the front when turning it non mobile?? I am having this problem, dont tell me i fugged up!!

nope...no pops or nothin....i greased the shiznizzle out of everything...cleaned out where the spring rests on the bottom of the assembly with some wd40 and put a thin layer of grease on it..and i re-greased the upper strut mount bearings too (numbers 9 and 10 on the pic below)...i love lubrication...just ask my girlfriend..lol

yeah when i took apart the front strut assembly there was grease squeezed out all around the bearing...grease that used to be underneath it...so i figured it wouldnt hurt to put a little more on there...might as well while i'm staring at it
Best way to see if you need a camber kit is to check the alignment about 500 miles after the install. If you can line it up, it's ok. If you can't line it, then you need camber kit. Checking alingment is a whole lot cheaper than new tires.
