Rant against riced up cars
I've been driving sentras till I got my '02 LX. In my sentra, people treat me fairly: as a slow import car. SUV's cut me off, and other cars generally pass on by, letting me live life in obscurity and peace.
But all of a sudden, since I get my little LX civic, people think I'm this hardcore ricin' racin' guy. I get all these cars that start revvin' up on me. The worse is on the freeways. I get these loser CRX's with enough plastic to build a spaceship going along side of me, then switching to third gear, screeching and buzzing past me at 1 foot/hour doing like 6500 RPM. Or let's not forget integras fully modified with red type R-esque honda badges (have you no shame in putting that on your slow lil car?!). Or the ubiquitous aluminum tails that ...you know, keeps the car glued to the pavement ...cus' you see race cars that have them. Watching these cars sloowly "burning me" when I'm not even racing is ridiculous. If I jump on the light a little quick, all of a sudden the guy with his girlie gimme this "I'm hard" look and floor their car ...only to stop side by side at the next light.
All this, and all I got is a stock LX. These kind of people give our car a bad name. That and Fast and the Furious: Point Break on wheels.

ppl will always do that. just dont end up one of them. do your car the way you want(hopefully without neons and huge wings and excessive stickers).
just do what i do, take a good look at their car and laugh. that always makes me feel better.

Rep Power: 0 so true. sometimes i hate pulling up first at the light on a 2 or 3 lane road, never know what *** will pull up next to me.
my favorite; me and my buddie were going to get some beer and smokes for the party we were at, so on our way to the store we get stopped at a light, some young punk in a WRX pulls up next to us passenger side, (im driving 2k2 vic) the WRX owner says, "wanna race?" so my buddy (whom is a big f.ucker) looks over to him and replys, "wanna fight!". then he opened his door as to get out, so the guy raced off with a right turn. hehe.

Rep Power: 0 When Im with my friend Dan, all he does is look for Civics, Integras, and Eclipses. he will tell me to pull up next to them at the light and I do. my friend starts telling them that I have NOS but I really dont. Then he will pull out his Milk Chug NOS bottle. I just sit in my car laughing and i go to the next light and this time, my friend says to rev the engine and I do. Then the one guys revs his engine too and I just accel at the light and im in front of the guy but then this guy changes gears and blows right past me lol. We always do stupid crap like that. We just joke with other drivers and if they laugh and dont seem angry we keep it up. We have never encountered some angry guy or anything they just smile because they got a nicer car than my 94 civic. Now that I got my brakes fixed, I can make the tires screech a lil bit more. Plus sometimes we write Powered by honda, NOS, and VTEC all over my cars windows.

Rep Power: 0 can't fight the flow of the street trends.. just gotta play it smart and pray that nothing bad comes out of every incident because u could possibly die over something stupid. it's good that people mess with our cars because it goes to show that they actually dig it while they envy us at the same time. go! go civics!
