bypass valve
I am wondering if the bypass valve that attaches to your cai will decrease the flow of are or cause a decrease in hp . I am not to sure of how it works that is why i am asking thanks. Also what do u guys use to clean your glass I used gunk foam glass cleaner also windex but keep getting streaks and I want it to look like

The air bypass valve doesn't affect hp. It is sort of like a sponge and the water which will condense or get sucked up will be on the insides of the piping and will get absorbed by the valve, otherwise there is no other difference.

I kinda understand that but doesn't the sponge slow airflow causing a loss in intake. I also posted a question on here but cant seem to find it on the search I
wanted to know If I need to do any kinda of welding or cutting to put in some s2000 seats. News paper wont the ink stain the window it stain my hand?

the air bypass opens up when the air pressure is affected due to water coming up the pipe (pretty sure on this one)
hp is affected but only a tiny bit, but its not like your intake is adding 30 hp anyway, and its always good to take the precaution

This was posted on here maybe 2 days ago. Its a very interesting article which explains exactly how it works. It also PROVES that it works keeping water out of the engine.
