Has anyone done this? Is there any 'easy' way to splice into the solenoid? I'm freaked about splicing a VTEC wire..... I might end up killing VTEC totall.. I'm so newbie when it comes to electrical schit, I might actually HAVE to buy one of those EBay kits, if they have idiot-proof splicing instructions that don't require me to splice

<< when did the chevy trailblazer and bravadas have vtec? >>

lol, I know Trailblazers run a V6 VORTEC engine... VORTEC ain't VTEC Not even similar. Just because they're spelled similar doesn't mean they're the same thing, haha... Ah yes, yet another wonder of ebay

BTW, not that any of you care, but Mom and Dad both drive a Trailblazer, and for the record, THEY HAUL if you have 28g's, get that truck!

My father had a new 2002 trailblazer for about a month and got rid after every possible probelm happened in it and YES, it did have a VTEC variable valve timing device in it. It was a Honda Motor Corp. designed timing system that was purchased to be placed in several new GM model SUV's. The "vortech?" timing is still in other models however.

My mom's TrailBlazer has VTEC? Hmm... then why does it say "VORTEC 4200" in really big letters on top of the motor? And for the record, my 97 Blazer also says VORTEC on it. GM would never put a technology as reliable and well designed as VTEC into their vehicles.
