Goldline Springs Installed correctly?
Yo i got my goldlines but on 2 days ago too, they are da bomb almost same thing as stock and better handleing on the curves..... i have one concern thoug...i was looking at the front springs and im not sure if the mechanic installed them right cause the goldline logo on both sides in the front are upside down.... should i be concern or its the same thing? thanks...
My GoldLine logo is on the right side on each springs....that's normal I think.....why put a logo on the spring if is is made to be on the wrong side..... have a look at this picture.......

the logo shouldnt matter, my rear neuspeeds logo is upside down as well and those only go in one way. when installing springs you shouldn't follow the logo.. just remember the tighter coils go on the bottom. for the front i dont this it would matter too much as i heard people with tighter coils on both the top and bottom and neither have cause problems and probably shouldnt.

my Goldline logo is upside down too, but rides fine...well except for some grinding noise i get from the front passenger side whenever i hit bumps...funny though my goldlines i have a finger an a half gap in the front and no finger gap back, does anyone with goldlines have this same problem, cuz Rider's drop looks fine and even...

thats the first complaint i ever heard... i first thought you had coupe springs on a sedan but you have a coupe... i have no idea.. maybe you have defective springs? you dont have anything heavy in the trunk or back seat do you? heavy as in something that weighs 200+ lbs.
As they say in other companies about lowering your car, each car has a slight weight difference, maybe Tricky's car just weighs more than Riders car? That is why some car's are lower than others when they buy the same brand of spring.

The mechanic i had to put my springs on must have the logo on the other side cuz i can't see it. Oh well, I love mine too. Tricky, thats the first bad thing i've heard about goldline so far. Everyone love's their Goldlines from what i've heard. Do you have subs or anything in the trunk to weigh it down??

yea, actually i do have 2 12 inch subs and an amp back there...i still think it rides well it's just thise 2 quirks (grinding noise and sagging) but i think the grinding noise may be the spring hitting metal, so install problem, and the sag may be the speakers but it shouldn't matter should it? anyways i contacted Goldline an they were really cool about it and said they would send me sedan springs for the rear to make it even here's what he said:

Hello,
You are correct, our springs are guaranteed not to sag. However, fender
well gaps are not an indication of a sagging spring. Keep in mind, fender
wells are cut higher in the front than in the rear due to the fact that the
front wheels turn and need additional clearance. This often gives the
appearance that the rear is lower than the front. I would be more than
happy to warranty the rear springs for you. If you want the fender well
gaps to be equal your going to have the vehicle higher in the rear(a slight
rake).
I also want to make sure that you do not have additional weight in the
trunk(stereo equip, etc.) It does not take much weight to generate a lower
ride height. Also, we do offer a taller rear spring for the rear of the
vehicle. This spring is used for the 4 door. If however, you use this
spring on the 2 door, the vehicle will sit higher in the rear, but your
fender well gaps will be equal. Let me know what you decide to do.
so hopefully he'll send them out...

what kind of 12s and amp? i had a small setup and it hardly lowered my car. i dunno it just seems weird that everyone with a coupe and coupe springs have an even fender well gap but you dont. what happens if the sedan ones raises it up too high?? you might want to try measuring the ground clearance... i think best way would be to measure right behind the front wheel and right infront of the rear wheel. from what i remembered i think my rear was 1" higher then the front. but ya something isn't right here.... hope your able to fix the problem... btw who installed it? i'm kinda thinking they left out a peice, specifically the one 'familyman' used as a spacer. its a rubber peice that goes in between the top peice of the shock and the actual spring...

i have 2 12" JL AUDIO in a box and a JL AUDIO 250/1 AMP in the trunk...it would really suck if this is making the rear sag...If i were to put in Koni's do you think this would help eleviate the problem? here are some pix:

Hey it is a good idea for someone like me that have the xenon kit ( too low on the rear side of the side skirts) to put some 4 D rear goldline springs.....cool ! ! ! !

Tricky, im glad the folks at Goldline are getting you fixed up. I have a 1 and a half finger gap in the front and a 2 finger gap in the back. I really like it, its low, but not too low. If ya know what i mean.
dude! I bougth Goldlines from tornactive. I have a SEDAN but
they send me the springs for a coupe and the rear sat very low enough to cover part of my tire while the front
was about 1.5 finger gap, so I call and E-mail tornactive about my problem but i did not get a response, well a week passed
and I e-mail Goldline and I got a response the very same day, I talk to Jeff and he offer me to send the rear springs for the sedan at no cost for me !!VERY COOL!!
4 day later I had the right springs on my car.
GOLDLINE is great. love them.

yea, Jeff from Goldline sent me a free pair of sedan springs for my coupe because it was low at the back too. I have yet to put them on, cuz i havent found the time, but it was really cool that Goldline sent a free pair of rear springs for free too, thats worth it just for the customer service.

depends on how you like your car... if you like the even fender gap, go with coupe... if you want the even ride height go with sedan. but then i have found some inconsistancy with goldlines, sometimes the fender gap is even with coupe springs and other times the rear has a smaller fender gap... i personally like neuspeeds...
