Stupid Question: Should I get camberkits on during alignment or go ahead and get alignment first? (T

I stopped by a shop today and the guy said that he could do the alignment for me for $70 (basic), therefore any other adjustments on my lowered car would cost extra. He said that if they had to custom adjust the cambers or something that it would cost extra. I'm definetly gonna get a camber for the back, probably pretty soon... But I shouldnt need one for the front, so cant they just align my car first and then I'll put on the cambers later?

Hey Rob, if you see this can you give me a hookup? I was trying to search for an email to reach you at b/c that would be more convenient that calling you. Anyway, I need a quote on a Rear Camber Kit only. Well why not just quote me for front and rear. My email is SSVongkasem@netscape.net Thanx a lot...

$70 for an alignment? i think pep boys does it for like $50... also get the alignment AFTER you get a camber kit.. how low of a drop is it anyways? or if you have springs, what springs did you get?

I would put the camber kits on and then get the alignment done. If you have it aligned without them, you'll just have to take it back and get another alignment after you install them. I got front and rear camber kits myself. The front doesn't really need them but for a perfect alignment, I would get them. I got the SPC kits off the group buy center. They were 164 shipped. Now, I am waiting on my darn neuspeed springs to get here. I hate when the stupid ***** don't send out orders until 3-4 days after the order has been placed.

I got some neuspeed sports.. the back has some serious negative camber... the front looks like its off by like 1 degree so i'm not gonna worry bout it... took it to firestone today and they said they wouldnt do it cuz it was lowered....do you know how much it should cost if i got it from pep boys plus the camber kit installation?

oh, btw..... i didnt ever get one.,,,, just dropped it, adjusted the camber kit to sight, and left it be.... its not as important as on the older civics, which had adjustable toe.... no alignment would eat tires like in a few days due to horrible toe after install of camber kit..... but now, its all good, just get alignment if yours is off... becuase my car is straighter than when i picked it up from the dealer
