Koni yellows INFERIOR
i had my Koni Yellows installed a week ago monday. i went to go and get my allignment and camber corrected ( AUTOTIRE by my house offers a 100$ camber/alignment package). but they take my wheels off to rotate my tires and there is noticeable play in both front struts, meaning they move about an inch in either direction FREELY. I think that koni's "insert" design is a FLUKE!!!!! im taking my car back to the shop that installed them to find out what the deal is

keep in mind, that the problem could have been with the way they were installed. if the shop did it wrong, they might have messed something up to cause the prob you are describing. let us know what you find out

there the best out there cause they are the only ones out there..unless you want to get a full strut coil package.....its lack of options that makes it good.....we've all seen numerous threads saying they mess up some way or another..... so i wouldnt doubt that they are inferior in some way
for the 01-02 that is cause other koni yellows for previous gens are good from what i read...

then why do we seem to have problems with them......you got to admit that there has been a few threads about the konis being messed up...maybe it could be from the instillation since you have to do so much to put them in

Personally, I don't like the insert design and certainly don't think that koni is the "Best" out there. Having to cut your shocks up and destroy them to use their product is ridiculous if you ask me. I am waiting on the tokicos myself. What brand is best is really a matter of opinion. Konis are best right now because it's easy to be the best when there is no one to compete aganst. and the survey says: "what is slotting" that slop you have is for adjusting your camber to have a badass auto-xing set-up when you reinstall the bolts you need alike a 150lbs of TQ on the bolts so that they do not slip again. Research a product first before you start bad mouthing it
