Wiring Reverse EL gauges into stock dimmer switch
I wanted to wire my Reverse EL's into the stock dimmer switch, I pulled the gauges apart and see the soder points for the swtich but would rather splice the wires coming out of the gauge cluster then risk the whole cluster to my poor sodering skills.
The wiring diagrams in the DIY don't show which wire I'd need to splice. I'm a little leary about probing the wires in that area so if anyone has done this or knows which one please respond.

dude be careful with tapping into those wires. you damage your dimmer and you have to replace the entire dash assembly. its not like the 6th gen civics where you could just replace the dimmer switch. you probably already know by taking it apart, everything is integrated!
