Anybody using over-wattage bulbs?

Anbody using over-wattage bulbs? I'm not talking about those cheese PIAA or Jap aftermarket bulbs that claim 100W on a standard 55/60W bulb. But a real over-watt bulb that is pulling 90W or something.

How do they perform and how long did they last?

Did you upgade the harness and has anything melted?

since mine were free, i have 90/110 bulbs i think. i've had them on my car for almost a year now but i haven't seen any harness damage of any sort. i've been meaning to switch to lower ones but never had the time. btw, i tend to blind people at night sometimes though

Have you had a chance to compar them to the 55/60W standard bulbs? Are they a lot brighter? I'm just worried that the extra wattage may create too much heat.

yeah, my housing gets pretty hot but i never compared the heat to the stock bulbs. i think you'd be better off with the correct wattage
