Grinding Noise...when i accelerate

i had this problem yesterday... i was driving ..came to a full stop and then press on the gas to go.. and i hear this loud grinding, kinda rattling noise from my car, also when i turn and accelerate at the same time. i think its coming from the front right side of my car. so this morning i take it to my friend's shop ..and the damn thing doesn't make a sound. but as soon as i leave.. it starts again!! does anyone have this problem?? i searched the previous threads but no one seems to know what it is.

i took my car to my friends shop and it turns out that my DC strut bar was loose. he tighten all the bolts and now the sound has stopped. so all u guys with the same problem hope this helps!!!!!!!!!

Check out that thread...sounds like that might be your problem...Does it only grind in second gear when you are turning? The wheel can be just slightly turned to the right in second gear and you'll hear a "grinding"

if the intake is cold air, check out the filter. does it fot tight? make sure that thing is not hitting anything. the only other thing i can think of is taking out the right front rim and inspecting everything. check the panels that are right under the wheel well and see if anything is loose. it doesn't seem to me that the noise is coming directly from the engine. if it was, you would be able to tell right away.
