if you can afford it go with pirrelli p-zeros. they are expensive but some of the best tires on the market. i have toyo proxies and they are not that bad if you can get away from the noisy tread

I was looking at Toyo and Pirelli, but the guy at the tire store recommended Sumimoto. I know he wasn't just trying to get my money, cause the Sumimotos cost less. He said they were more absorbent and was hearing nothing but good things from previous customers. I also have had no problems with them. However, if you want the trendy name on your tires, then go for the Toyos or Pirellis.

go with Toyo Proxes, not as expensive but kind of noisy like CivicNsc said.

Heard the Pirellie p6000 or p7000 are over rated. They are too noisy and overpriced from name. Only get Pirelli P-zeros. That is what a car shop told me. He also said the Sumitomos are a good tire because they're good for their price. Plus they have a pretty tight tread design. but imo, i want the toyo T1S. Those have an awesome tread design, but pretty pricey.

What about Michelin?I used them on my previous car with 17" wheels and I can say they're good. The ones I used was Michelin pilot and I was pleased, those tyres stick to the road like they're on rail even in the rain.As with the noise, all low-profile tyres are bound to be noisy especially on the freeway but it was still bearable.

Have you considered Yokohoma Parada Spec 2's? They have AWESOME tread, even in wet weather, and they look GREAT.

Easy...easy...easy...If you live in the desert, do not go for Pirelli's but if you don't then wrap them up with Pirelli's!!! On the other hand, Toyo's are decent and cheaper! If desert is not a factor in your case then it is a matter of cheaper tires versus better tires for more money! Whatever tickles your fancy on that one!
