Nitto or Toyo??
I've got Toyo Proxes FZ4 205/40/17 and they're great. and i never had Nittos so I wouldn't know the difference. Also I don't really pay attention to the "way a tire feels" anyway, the only way you would know is if you were running autocross or something not on public roads.

i havent had either, but from reading car magazines, if you go with Nittos, get the 555 Extreme's if you can get them in your size, if not get the Toyo's. Ive heard that the lower models(i.e. 455 Extreme, etc.) arent really worth the money, but if youre pressed for cash, get the 455's theyll be fine.
P.S.- could i persuade you to get the Kunho Ecsta Supra 712? i have them, theyre close to the 455's in price, but theyre much better. i love them, i would recommend them to all.

It doesn't get much better than the Proxes T1S. I have had both these and the FZ4s and the T1S's are much nicer than even my brother's who has had the nitto 555 and the top of the line paradas. I got them for $130 a wheel a while ago and they are definitely worth it.
