From what I understand they are performance plugs. I have a set in my 2k1 and it improved my gas mileage noticibly.

groupbuycenter has em but it's 55 shipped for a set of 4. our plugs are platinum already, so iridium is really the only possible upgrade. personally i'm not upgrading mine till at least 30k miles

I don't think are plugs need to be replaced till 100k or so. As for the iridium plugs, I think it's worth it if you have all the other bolt-ons and the money to burn.

Unless you have a fully tuned engine there will be no difference, or well I should say it will be minimal. Your car comes tock with Platinum plugs which are most definalty sufficient. In other words it is a waste of money for most of the cars on this site.
