98 ex new tank new pump no codes, won’t take gas

98 ex new tank new pump no codes, won’t take gas
Just had my fuel tank replaced, with a new fuel pump, I have a hard time putting gas in the nozzle just clicks after a few cents, I managed to put about 5 gallons in and it reads half tank but randomly fluctuates between half and almost empty, there’s also no codes being throw, is this normal?
