dropping gas tank on 98 civic

Hello to all any advice on dropping the gas tank on a 98 civic ex coupe? It looks like it will clear the exhaust but have never done this before. I have a small leak and need to drop tank to inspect. I looked on You tube but see no videos'. Any advice is appreciated.

Run it until the tank is as empty as you can get it. Or siphon, or use the pump to empty the tank.
A full gas tank is one awkward SOB to try to remove, and dangerous.
Get the car as high as you can safely get it. Use jackstands.

NO DROPLIGHTS.

Keep yourself grounded so you don't get a voltage potential
