Car Starts, then dies
Hello, im new to Hondas and English is not my First language . Anyways,
I have a Problem with my Civic, it's a 98 Euro Ej9 with a B16A2 swap from a Ej6.
The Car still needed some work done when I got it, so far I've replaced:
-Batterie
-Main Relay
-Distributor
-Spark Plugs and Wires
-Clutch and a few Gaskets
Now heres the Problem, the Car Starts up just Fine but RPMs drop after a few seconds and the Car dies.
I got a Code 41 Check Engine light because I dont have an Exhaust System yet, so im running open headers without an O2 Sensor at the Moment. Other then that there are no Codes.
I've Plugged the O2 in once to test, Code was gone but Car still died.
Heres what I tested so far:
-Compression, Cylinder 1 is a bit low but the rest are fine.
-Fuel Pump, I can hear it prime. After the Car died I checked the Combustion Chamber, it still looked wet.
-Ignition System also seems to be working, since it starts just fine and all Parts a brand new OEM Quality.
The Car came with a Chipped P30 ECU, with the Chip removed. Since im not planning to add another Chip I've removed the "J1" Connection to use the Base Map again.
I was thinking it might be the Alternator, so i did some Voltage tests. With the Engine running I got a few Inconsistent readings anywhere from 10V to a max of 13.6 Volts before the Engine would die.
The next Day I hooked up my Multimeter again to do some more testing but despite me not doing anything diffrent the Engine didn't die this time, it ran for over a Minute before I shut it off myself. I recorded the Multimeter, since usually I didn't have enough time to look at it before the Car died.
The Voltage readings at the top range were where they should be, in the 14.4-14.5 Volt range but were realy Inconsistent and jumped around a lot.
I've uploaded the Video on Youtube:
Are those Inconsistencies normal, or might this be the issue that im having ?
When I tried moving the Car later that Day the Engine died again like before and I haven't been able to get it to run longer then a few seconds since.
