Spark Plug Installation. [solved]

Hey guys, I'm planning to install spark plugs for the first time in my 2015 civic lx sedan. I've read that the socket used is 14mm; however, a 5/8 would be the equivalent and would work as well? Would something like this work?
Amazon Amazon
.
From my understanding, that tool is a socket + extender + a magnet right? Because I see a lot of videos that recommended getting all three of those items.

Another question I have is that Honda recommends Dilzkr7A11Gs while every other places recommend Dilzkr7B11Gs, what's the difference? I have emailed ngk and have not received any reply.

Edit- I was told to use a bit of carb cleaner on the plugs if they are stuck. Would brake cleaners work as well?

Shouldn't need carb cleaner. Standard spark plug socket is fine. Might just be an older part number, could call honda and check

Thank you. I don't have any spark plug sockets. I'm in the process of shopping. That's why I'm asking would that spark plug tool on amazon be ok?

Honda OEM is DILZKR7B11GS, aka the NGK 95710.

That tool should do you just fine, too. If you already have a long 3/8" extension extension, save yourself a few bucks and just grab the socket itself

Thank you very much.I don't have a 3/8 extension yet, that's why that tool is so attractive to me: It includes the extender, magnet, and socket all of which I don't have.

re: Spark Plug Installation. [solved]

I’ve used deep sockets and needle nose pliers in the past in a pinch without much issue. Those were on much tougher jobs than a civic.

re: Spark Plug Installation. [solved]

I forgot to ask you guys. Do you guys use a torque wrench to tighten to spec or do you just go by feel? Also the 5/8 socket should work in place of 14mm right?

re: Spark Plug Installation. [solved]

NGK's website says it's 5/8"/16mm. Should be fine with either. 14mm gonna be too small

As far as the torque wrench goes, I do, just because I have one on hand. The torque spec is stupid low at 13ft-lbs though, so you can get away with hand tight + an extra quarter to half turn

Ngks have a crush washer, you can feel it compress as you tighten the plug
