Assessment of damage after overheating Honda Civic 2011
Hello members of this forum,
I had an overheating issue with my Honda civic 2011 around 1 year ago, the cause was Fan not working - I has never experienced overheating of engine so I was clueless what was happening at some point I noticed that the accelerator was not working at all the Car seem very sluggish and almost stopped moving then I saw the Gauge and noticed it is reaching the red ♥️ mark - Then I turned it off and called a recovery to drop the Car to my house next day I drove again and as long as I was on highway driving at good speed the overheating will not happen but I got stuck in a traffic jam and again same thing happened . After that I got the fan fixed and coolant changed to optimal level and Car has been working fine until recently when again the Fan failed and I am getting it fixed now. Right now I have 225K kilometers on the odometer.
The goal of the post is to access how much irreversible damage have I done to the car because if the overheating incident.
