95 civic dx, what is this light?

We just bought this car and this light came on all the sudden. Any idea what it is? I don't think its the gas light. Put gas in it and it is still on.

That does not look stock to me but I could be wrong. Aftermarket alarm system maybe?

Re: 95 civic dx, what is this light?

question... Is your car on in that pic you posted?

Looking at your gas level, I wonder if the gas warning bulb burnt out, the previous owner didn't know how to replace the bulb, so they just put their own warning light in. That seems like a whole lot more than trying to find the thing to tap for that. I'm just spit-balling ideas now

It's the only way to figure it out. It's not stock and we're not the previous owner so we have no idea what they were trying to accomplish by installing that light
