Hello,
My 02 civic ex coupe has rattling and squeaking coming from front passenger side when driving. Not sure if it is the ball joint or lower control arm bushings. I do not see an major tears in the bushings but maybe the dry cracks are not good either. I generally attribute rattling to the ball joint but I hear the noise when driving straight and I thought ball joints made noise while turning. That is not the case when sitting still and turning. Also, it seems the squeaking begins after I have been driving for a while as if the parts need to be warmed up first.

Also if there are any tests I can do to know for sure please let me know .

Jack up the car, wiggle the wheel, pry on the suspension components. Look for movement, listen for noise. Could be the dust shield behind the rotor.
take it to a shop if you can't figure it out

Maybe tie rod ends or strut mount. The ball joint and control arm bushing look healthy enough to not be causing issues.

Going to raise the car this weekend when I have access to jack. In the mean time what parts tend to squeak when warmed up?
