Maybe a stupid question, but my expectations are real low. non rolling shell is fine. just asking theoretically bc my savings aint quite what i need it to be yet. hatch, coupe, wagon, literally whatever i can find. If it is possible, how would i go about looking for one? craigslist is barren.

Damn shame. Where else would i look for a lightweight reliable chassis that a 2.3 single cam could put power down in? i dont really want an accord, chassis is too heavy for me w/o turbo.

Pretty much any of the old Honda’s (even the old accords weren’t that heavy). You may get lucky and find an old prelude, and the F-series bolts right into those.

If you're willing to fix something up, then, yes. If you want something you can start using as your daily driver right away? No, probably not. I got lucky and my brother sold me an 87 civic a couple months back that was technically in driving condition, the bodyis clean, and the interior is immaculate, but mechanically I'm replacing about half of everything under the hood and rebuilding (or at least replacing the seals) on everything else.
But there are other cars out there. It really depends on how much work you are willing to do.
