it wouldn't really matter cause you could just adjust the b&g to your preference...

I'd go with the tire size that gave me the closed to the original revolutions per mile, so's it wouldn't screw up my speedometer.

Gotta get rid of those stock tires first. If you want bigger rims, then go fot that at the same time. Considering the stock tires, changing to the right performance tires will make the most improvement in handling for the least effort.
