I will be adding a catback exhaust system, CAI, and headers to my 07 civic si in the future, my question is, DO I NEED HONDATA? thanks in advance

You don’t need any tuning software unless you want to optimize the performance gains. Factory tune can adjust a bit but you won’t feel much of a difference.

Thanks, thats kinda what i was thinking since theyre are bolt on upgrades, not major upgrades, i was told i needed hondata though to prevent knock counts

i think 8th/9th gen had easier to tune ECU (not like the 7th gen, which needed a RSX ECU to do the tune) so it is not restricted to standalone or hondata...
