2011 honda civic 4 dr sedan

Hello im new to this forum and I appreciate any help here..Thank you
Can someone tell me where to start on with the removal of the coolant cross pipe, is it the water pump side or egr side, Do I need any special tools for pipe?
what is removed on start?

Anything that's in the way, probably the entire intake manifold. It will slide out of the water pump so you need the other end loose first.

On other engines with a similar coolant pipe I spray the seal with WD-40 before trying to slide the pipe back in.
