Belt Squealing Noise!
Yo! Whats up y'all, For some reason, there is a squealing noise coming from the belt on the engine belt system. I'm not sure if its the tensioner, or the alternator causing it, but it doesn't happen often. It comes then goes away in a few minutes. Usually following an electrical fluctuation. For example, the last time it happened, it made that noise, it went a way in a minute or two, then when i started to drive my radio turned off then back on, and my speedometer went to 0 and came back up to normal. As far as i am aware, alternators don't slowly go out. They usually work, or they stop working. I think it might be the belt tensioner pulley. How can i tell?

Re: Belt Squealing Noise!
Check to make sure the alternator is tight and inspect the accessory belt. They usually slip when it's cold out and go away when the engine warms up. With the belt off you can manually spin the pulleys and tensioner to make sure they are good.
