What is this little black disconnected hose?

Little hose

2002 Honda Civic LX 5 speed.

EDIT: Solved, it is the vent tube for the starter. Thanks!
I'm just troubleshooting a leaking thermostat housing and while I was underneath the front end I noticed this little black hose. I'm guessing it's some sort of vent and that it's supposed to be disconnected? I just want to make sure it's not supposed to be connected to anything. Thanks!

Re: What is this little black disconnected hose?

Actually that appears to be the starter, I don't think the A/C drain hose would be anywhere close to that. On a picture of a TYC brand starter I see a rubber hose that looks similar.

Re: What is this little black disconnected hose?

Vent tube for the starter motor.
Follow the hose to its starting point to confirm.
